Cake Stands with Debby Dunn

In this 4-week handbuilding class, we’ll be using slabs to build our basic form. We'll explore glazing options and decorative techniques such as water etching and slip trailing. For attendees with wheel skills, cake stands can be wheel-thrown and embellished with the same decorative techniques.
Cake Stands is a beginner-level class - No prior clay experience required! We welcome all beginners, or those looking for a refresher course in wheel-throwing.
What's included:
- Four 2.5 hour instructional sessions
- Clay provided
- Access to all studio supplies, materials and tools
This class is happening at our classroom studio - located at 1271 Market Street in Chattanooga, TN.
Find the classroom:The classroom space is behind the Firestone building at the corner of Market and W. 13th Street. Classroom entrance is located on West 13th Street directly across from Urban Stack, while the entrance to the parking lot is on Cowart Street. If our parking lot is full, there is plenty of street parking available on Cowart, West 13th, and Market Street.

SCCA must have at least 4 students to make a class. If 4 students are not enrolled, we will inform you at least two days before the start date.
We do not offer any make-up classes.
