In this magical clay class, kids will design and build their own enchanting fairy houses! Using hand-building techniques, they’ll learn to shape whimsical doors, windows, and tiny details to create a perfect home for fairies.
Participants will receive a short studio tour & get to pick the perfect glaze for their creations. All participants’ work will be checked/looked over by the instructor to ensure it will survive the firing.
Students will be able to pick the glaze color of their choice for their pieces. SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be called and emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
Led by SCCA youth instructor, Chase Guajardo.
Family Clay Workshops are designed for families to enjoy working with clay together. The workshops are open to participants aged 3 and up. The cost is per family unit, with one registration covering up to three people, including at least one adult. If your group exceeds three people, you will need to purchase an additional registration. For example, one registration covers three people, two registrations cover six people, and so on.
