1 family registration covers up to 3 people
$65 per family

Freezing temps are no problem for Arctic animals. Come in from the cold to create adorable creatures found in sub-zero climates. Participants will use handbuilding techniques to make 3 Arctic Animals. The instructor will demonstrate the following techniques; coil method, pinch method, & the slab method. An overview of texture & how to attach 2 pieces of clay will also be presented.
Participants will receive a short studio tour & get to pick the perfect glaze for their creations. All participants’ work will be checked/looked over by the instructor to ensure it will survive the firing.
Students will be able to pick the glaze color of their choice for their pieces. SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be called and emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
Led by SCCA youth instructor, Nicole Johnson.
