Create lasting memories and construct a fairy house with your family. The workshop will cover the 3 basic forms of hand building; coil, pinch, and slab methods. Using these techniques, students will build a fairy house. The fairy house can be decorative or functional. Students are encouraged to use texture and be creative with their designs.

Participants will receive a short studio tour & get to pick the perfect glaze for their creations. All participants’ work will be checked/looked over by the instructor to ensure it will survive the firing.

Students will be able to pick the glaze color of their choice for their pieces. SCCA staff will fire and glaze all pieces following the class. Participants will be called and emailed when their pieces are complete and ready for pickup. This takes a minimum of 3-5 weeks.

Led by SCCA youth instructor, Nicole Johnson.

Family Clay Workshops are designed for families to come and play in clay together. Ages 3 and up are welcome. Price of this workshop reflects the cost per family unit.
