Amanda Eskew shares her story

I love that SCCA is such a positive environment. Everyone from professional potters, to hobbyists, to newbies are so excited and willing to share their experiences and knowledge. I appreciate the judgement-free creative space, where everyone is genuinely interested and excited for each other.

I come to SCCA to have an intentional “me time” session to explore creativity I otherwise would not be able to enjoy.

I struggle with self-worth and self-confidence. Seeing other members enjoy my work and hearing their praises and encouragement help me both as a potter and as a person! It has helped my confidence overall in life and helped me realize that I am skilled, creative, and worthy!
