Not ready to commit to a multi-week pottery class? Check out our Get Your Hands Dirty class instead. It’s a one-time beginner wheelthrowing pottery class for you to try out ceramics. Led by an instructor, you’ll throw clay on the wheel for 2.5 hours. At the end of class, you’ll pick a glaze color for your pieces and then let SCCA do the rest of the work! Over the next few weeks following your class, SCCA will take care of drying, firing, glazing, and firing again all of your creative masterpieces. No prior clay experience is required for taking a Get Your Hands Dirty class. Bring your friend, a date, or come solo to try out making ceramics.
