Wheelthrowing Session
Try out the potter's wheel in this 20-minute wheel play session! You’ll receive a quick 5 minute demo, and then you’ll have 15 minutes to try out your own wheelthrowing techniques!
Please note that any pieces you create on the wheel will not be kept for firing or able to be taken home (trust us - you won’t want to, they’ll be super wet and muddy!) This 20 minute wheel session is meant for you to just try out the wheel and get to know the clay, not to create a take-home piece.
All ticket holders will also be able to break some pottery at our SCCA SMASH BOOTH! Each ticket holder can smash up to 3 pots, with the ability to pay to smash extra pots.
Notes about registration:
Select your wheelthrowing session time slot and click “add to cart.” A participation form will pop up that you will need to fill out for yourself/anyone else that you’re registering. Fill out the form and click “add to cart.” Simply filling out the form does not register you for the class - it ONLY adds it to your cart.
Then, to complete checkout, click the small round “cart” icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. Pop-up blockers may prevent you from seeing the icon. To view your cart and complete checkout, you can visit sceniccityclayarts.org/cart. Complete online payment to complete your registration so you can participate in the event!
