Crafty Hour at The Greenhouse

On Tuesday, March 18, Scenic City Clay Arts and Oddstory Brewing Co. teamed up for a cozy night of creativity at The Greenhouse on MLK Blvd. Guests joined us for Crafty Hour, a special 55-minute handbuilding workshop where they crafted their very own ceramic planters—all while sipping on a delicious drink from The Greenhouse bar.

With clay and tools provided, participants got hands-on guidance from SCCA’s expert instructors, learning how to shape and decorate functional, one-of-a-kind planters. Whether folks were seasoned artists or total beginners, everyone left with muddy hands, happy hearts, and the promise of a beautiful glazed and fired piece ready for pick-up in a few weeks.

The evening was filled with laughter, warm drinks, and earthy creativity—exactly the kind of midweek magic we love to bring to Chattanooga.
