Mug-Making at Velo Coffee

Scenic City Clay Arts teamed up with Velo Coffee for a hands-on community clay event, bringing the joy of pottery to coffee lovers and creatives alike! The Mug-Making at Velo event, held in March, was a fun and engaging event where participants got their hands dirty and explored the art of hand-building their own ceramic mugs.

Under the guidance of our skilled instructors, attendees learned fundamental pottery techniques while shaping and personalizing their unique mugs. The atmosphere was filled with creativity, laughter, and, of course, plenty of delicious Velo coffee to keep the inspiration flowing!

A huge thank you to Velo Coffee for hosting us and to everyone who joined in on the clay-filled fun. We loved seeing the community come together to create something meaningful (and functional!). Once fired and glazed, the handmade mugs will be ready for pickup at Scenic City Clay Arts—stay tuned for pickup details!
