Being a SCCA member means more than having access to a clay studio. Members like Kelcie have made the most of their time at the studio. In 2022, Kelcie was able to leave her full-time marketing job and pursue her true passion: ceramics. Within a few months, Kelcie’s stock was selling out, and she began taking HUGE orders from local businesses, like Calliope!

While Kelcie loves having a space to create, her favorite thing about being a SCCA member is meeting other potters, telling us, “Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to create the connections I have and feel such an enormous sense of community. I feel deeply inspired and supported by the other members on a daily basis.”
