2023 ChattaChocolate Warmer

On January 31 2023, SCCA celebrated National Hot Cocoa Day with an elevated hot chocolate experience at our first-ever ChattaChocolate Warmer event. Event attendees received a handmade mug crafted by a SCCA potter and got to indulge in gourmet hot chocolate, complete with a variety of toppings, alcoholic add-ins, heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Delicious snacks were provided by Poppytons Patisserie, Calliope, and Events with Taste.

We enjoyed smooth jazz from one of Chattanooga's most celebrated saxophonists, Swayyvo, and got an inside look into the gourmet bon bon-making process of local chocolatier, Cocoa Asante. Ella from Cocoa Asante provided in-depth look at her personal history in the chocolate-making industry before sharing a tasting experience of her delicious Ghanian-sourced chocolates.
